The Board of Commissioners voted on 3 high density rezoning applications yesterday

*The Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to deny a rezoning request for 140 townhomes on Lumpkin Campground Road yesterday.

*The Board of Commissioners voted to approve the project near the old Kroger 3-1 with Commissioner Fausett opposed. After negotiations between the Kilough Residential Community Taskforce and the developer, the proposed townhomes were removed from the project.

*The Board of Commissioners voted to approve an update to zoning stipulations for the Dawson Forest Rd. project beside Riley Place 3-1 with Commissioner Fausett opposed. The developer and the Board agreed to remove the commercial component of the project.
